Reprint Receptacle Labels

Mailers who work with receptacles (such as shipment consolidators) can use the Dispatch History page to reprint a receptacle label.

On the Dispatch History page, expand the appropriate closed dispatch and locate the receptacle that needs its label reprinted. Click its Receptacle ID link to go to the Receptacle Information page, and then click Reprint Label. Affix the new label to the receptacle tag, ensuring that the new receptacle label completely covers the old one.

View Receptacle Tracking Events

Mailers who work with receptacles can view the posted tracking events for each receptacle in a closed dispatch.

On the Dispatch History page, expand the appropriate closed dispatch and locate the receptacle that you want to view tracking events for.  Click its Receptacle ID link.  GSS opens the Receptacle Information page for that receptacle.  Tracking events are posted in the grid below the receptacle's information.

Re-open and Edit a Closed Dispatch

You can re-open a closed dispatch and make adjustments to it under the following conditions:

  1. The dispatch has been closed for only a short period of  time (30 minutes or less).
  2. The current dispatch is empty.

To re-open a closed dispatch, locate the dispatch on the Dispatch History page and click its Reopen button.  All of its packages (and associated receptacles, if applicable) will be moved to the current dispatch.

Adjust the reopened dispatch's contents as necessary. When you have finished, use the Current Dispatch page to close it again.
